Guys, I am trying to bond Carbon fiber reinforced polymer composite rods to Aluminum rod ends. we will be using these members in race care wishbone. I am thinking of using combination of mechanical and adhesive bonding methods to give maximum result.

So, I wonder if you can recommend to me Adhesive product you might used before in similar part and gave you good results.

Thanks

mechanical and adhesive together could be an unwise choice.

have a look at this topic (look at pics).

a good (maybe hot) bonding between carbon tube and alu is enough.
ensure you have a sufficient amount of bonding surface. ensure it is well cleaned.

We've had good luck with Hysol. However, as Lorenzo mentioned, surface prep is everything.
