We're currently putting the finishing touches on our marketing presentation material, and are not sure of one key point.

When stuff is costed at 70$/hr for CNC in the cost report (or any other process for that matter), is this assuming that you already own the machine and thus are paying for labor only, or is this a price based on outsourcing the part (i.e. including labor, tooling and machine usage)?

We need to know so we can figure out just how much overhead we are looking at, based on whether we are looking at an assembly plant or a full manufacturing plant.

I know it would be best to go through the rules committee, but I'd like to get an idea of how others proceed.

Thanks
