FSAE vs. Ferrari video

I'm looking for an FSAE video I saw of an FSAE car racing against a Ferrari. Anyone know where I can find it?

I haven't seen any FSAE vs. Ferrari vids in recent years (although I'm sure I could have missed them). There was a short, lo-rez clip of a FSAE vs. Porsche...perhaps that's what you're looking for? It was a short 200m run against a F348.

I saw a video back in 2002 (or 2003) of the University of NSW car beat a Ferrari (I think it was a 355).

May still be floating around somewhere.

By the way racing those Elise's were a lot of fun. The lot we were racing on was much bumpier than the Silverdome carpark. It got really interesting the harder you pushed.

I made a Ferrari 348 bite the dust in 2003.. and a subaru 4wd too. thats the one jjusb means.

Bit the ferrari was easier than the subaru.

Beating any car or motocicle in 200mts is easy, we have beating car in 1/4mile in Turaguas and San Carlos International Race Way, with and with out turbos, we even beat a Lamborgini Diablo in 1/4mile on the 27 of april is our new car release and also web page there you will be able to see those videos.

We have told all the theams here from Venezuela to race on 1/4 mile......so far none has responde....we are still waiting.

By the way, after lots of improbment we are doing 96HP on the wheels on our 2005 car, when we beat the diablo we only had 87HP.

95-100hp is about the theoretical, ideal max you could get running restricted. Can only pull like .074kg/s isentropically though a 20mm diameter hole.

96 at the wheels is kinda questionable. Some dynos pull high.. some pull low.

Erick, drag runs are always fun, but your FSAE car isn't suppose to be a dragster. Maybe challenge them to an autocross event, and then they would probably respond.

I'd love to see those videos of the Diablo though.

I'll said throught here when we put the new web page for sponsorship reason we can put anything until the 27 of April, we did have the restrictor on, we tried 4 diferent restrictor, change the intercooler and do some muffler and header work, our car is turbocharge not aspirated.
We seen other uni getting this numbers so is not that unusual.
If any one wants to race a 1/4mile we will race on a autocross no problems....we cant win them all jajajaja.
The diablo video is not as coll as one we also post doing donuts along with a Ford Fiesta also turbo charged and all tuned up. But sorry you'll have to wait a while to see

The weight of a car is inertia. you can have the same PTWR as the top 10 people here, but if you weight more, you loose.

Criticizing a signature?.. a sig can be a joke!.. in fact, mine is that.. just a joke. I'm a medium CosmosWorks user, enough to fit with my team requirements. Is that the part from the end of the acceleration event when someone threw there tires into the crowd. The officials told everyone to delete that video, seemed like they were covering there asses for liability reasons.
