I'm a freshman at Mercer University. Our school hasn't had a team in a few years but a couple other freshman and I are interested in getting our school back in the game. None of us have ever been involved in formula-style cars, so we basically have no idea what we are doing. Could someone please point us in the right direction on getting started, or know where to find some good, detailed resources on building a car. I am sure this is a long shot, but are there any schools that are reasonably close (we are in Macon, GA) that would be willing to let us come and take a look at your car.

You're welcome to come up and take a look at our car/shop in Clemson, SC. Send me an email at dgraing at clemson.edu and we can probably set something up.
