as far as 2006 goes, it sounds like quali will be more exciting, except the fuel rule is kinda screwed up now..

Might create more passing. If they can limit the body work madness that's the current wave of development.
What they really need to do is limit testing. You're never going to cut aero development costs, never cut engine development costs, or anything else that can be done without the entire car. Testing is the largest expenditure of any team and the only real way to cut budgets.

Max continues to make bad decisions, and I'm hoping this doesnt prove to be another one. F1 needs:
Much less wing
Ground Effects
Wide Slicks

one thing that i never understood, was that when they wanted to reduce speed and increase overtaking chances they halved the amount of mechanical grip, i understand that to reduce corner speeds you can reduce mechanical grip, but that grip is fundamental to being able to get close to the guy in front as the aero looses effect at close quarters!
surely they would have been better cutting back on the aero grip, therefore slowing the high speed corners, but leaving wider slicks as that increases mechanical grip therfore making overtaking more of a possibility, also that would keep the slow speed corners at a reasonable speed rather than pootling round at 40 mph!
rant over! http://fsae.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif
actually, they are going back to slick tires in 2007.
