Only 798 from Durham, NH to Romeo, MI, but thats cutting through Canada. Add on another 200 miles if we don't.

It was right at 2,500 miles for us to drive from Bellingham, WA to Detroit. I think the only school that drives further is the University of British Columbia – about 50 miles more. It's still about 1300 miles from Bellingham to Fontana.

I think that the longest drive for FSAE West this year will be Ecole Polytechnique De Montreal. Google Maps says 2,818 miles for them. I'm not having any luck finding distances for the Mexican teams though.

All this is nothing compared to shipping a car from overseas...

Only 1322 miles from Boulder to Romeo, but we're goin to Akron, Ohio first. So 1371 + 230 = 1601 miles. Could be worse.

Leavin tomorrow morning in like 8 hours. See you guys there.

Hi guys don't feel so bad we're going to the F-SAE West competition and with the budget we have right now were looking at close to $1,000 to ship the car to the east coast and then rent some sort of transport to drive it to California. Now that's just the car one way we're still looking for a sponsor to help US get there. By the way if you see our car over there and we can't make it feel free to test it for us jajajajaja!! Yeah, while its not across the street anymore, Oakland University is definitely still the closest, something like 15-20 miles away.

if we were doing detroit it's 2300 miles. luckily we're only doing cal speedway, 20.9 miles away. In our defense, with traffic that could take us up to an hour to get there http://fsae.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif

Jersey Tom,
How are you getting 2900 miles for Stevens Tech? The most I can get from the map programs is 2,777 miles...

So the Montreal teams are still further away.
