That's correct. I am helping organize the event and work for Honeywell.

Some additional details on the event: you can park in lot G4--there is a $4 per vehicle fee (sorry about that--we were not able to get it waved). But there will be a free pizza and soda lunch (paid for by the SoCal SAE section).

Go to Nobbs Auditorium in Sequoia Hall to register and for the morning session. The breakout sections in the afternoon will be in rooms JD1624C and JD1116.

Any questions, please give me a call or drop me an e-mail.

Hello everyone,
The CSUN FSAE team will be helping host the event this year. We are encouraging all the local schools to bring in their FSAE/BAJA/AERO projects to put on display. We will be displaying our FSAE and AERO projects. Feel free to contact me at sae@csun.edu if you would like more details or visit our team page. The link is in my signature.

We look forward to seeing you there!!

Thanks to everyone who participated in our 8th annual SAE student competition workshop at the CSUN campus Saturday!

We had a total of about 45-50 people including representatives from CSUN, CSULA, CSU Pomona, CSU Fullerton, and CSU Irvine (please speak up if I missed anybody). CSULA brought their MiniBaja and Supermileage vehicles, and CSUN had 2 FSAE cars and their Aero Design plane on display.

Many thanks to Pablo Olmedo of CSUN for setting up the workshop, and also Erika Iida for her help.

And thanks to our speakers: Anna Phillips (SoCal SAE section chair), Mike O'Neil (Tilton), Larry Stephens (Lockhead Martin), and Mike Stewart (Honeywell). Also thanks to Mike O'Neil for facilitating the FSAE breakout session, and Gina Parodi (Boeing) and Mike Stewart for facilitating the SuperMileage/Aero Design/Mini Baja session. I will be posting electronic copies of the presentations on the SoCal SAE website (http://socal.sae.org) in the next couple of days.

We plan on having the event again next year and look forward to seeing even more schools and participants then!
