What are your teams doing to design a suspension that incorporates and accomodates for these three different variables? What types of books, equations, and software are you using?

Two words. Data acquisition.

We're a first year team, so we have no data or ideas to base things off of, so we're going between Solid Edge and WinGeo3 from Bill Mitchell to make things fit in a manner we hope will handle well. I've spent countless hours reading every suspension thread on the forum I could find, and I also picked up a copy of Race Car and Vehicle Dynamics at the competition.

Using that we're going to do a lot of guess and check. We're already into the construction phase though, so we hope to have enough time to test to learn our left wheel from our differential before May.
