Just realized I never announced here that my dissertation based on work with Cornell FSAE is out in the world, at least in draft form.

There's more than a few FSAE-related organizational learning posts on the blog as well, if you're scrounging for inside information.
The dissertation itself is a dense read, but OK. I'd have done other things with it had I had the latitude, but I was rather constrained by organizational politics on, well, all of it. I'm hoping it's good enough so I can move on - I'm sick of it otherwise, would sooner write three or four other things, and I'm in the process of doing so.
On the topic of moving on, I'll be in the Toronto area for a while, teaching at Sheridan College in the joint Sheridan/UofT program in Communication, Culture and Information Technology.
Unfortunately, Sheridan doesn't have an FSAE team, and only a rudimentary Mini Baja one.
But I am looking to continue my research work with engineering teams...so if Toronto or Ryerson's looking for assistance (or perhaps a junior faculty advisor...unpaid adjunct role would be great...) well, I'm interested and only a short streetcar ride away.
