Does anyone know how you are supposed to remove the trunnions from the torsen diff? Do you need a special tool or can you just pull them out im having some issues doing so.
Thanks

I always shove a 3/32 welding rod down the Spirol pin. Strike an arc on the tip of it, with the ground connected to the rod (you don't want current going places it shouldn't).
Grab the end of the rod in a vice, and use the Torsen as a slide hammer. It's not as violent as it sounds, and has worked well for all 3 diffs i've taken apart.
The Torsen method of grinding a slot is crap.
