trying to design a chassis for a go kart. max speed should be around 80km/hr. need all possible details. forces, loads, material, max weight etc

Well first I would start with the overarching design goal, are you trying to go real fast or are you trying to catch flies with your teeth? Also you need to know where you will be putting your towel, whatever you do, don't leave the garage without your towel.
As far as the amount of force, well that really depends on the amount of mitichlorians you have in your material; i recommend bamboo, the force is strong in that material.
I wouldn't be so much worried about weight and more inclined to consider drag, if you're half as much a drag on your kart as you are a drag on this forum then you'll be hard pressed to get past 10kph.

I find welding carbon fibre tubes together works great, very strong and stiff. And if you need to add anything, you can just weld more carbon fibre on.

If you're using steel tubes, dont forget Loctite! It holds them together tremendously!
