Noticed a couple teams running hubs with centerlock wheels, looked like aluminum. You guys get much trouble with the threads? Galling, or just getting dinged up from tools?

You didn't see our car since we're going to the west competition, but ours do gall and the nuts don't last very long before they loosen on the threads of the spindle. We're going with a 4x100 next year.

OU's car had centerlock's with aluminum nuts and threads. I don't believe they have had any problems with galling, don't know if this makes a difference but the nut is anodized so that may help to prevent it.

Down here at Florida we use centerlocking aluminum nuts on aluminum threaded hubs and have not had any problems for two years.

Anti-sieze and a good chamfered design should help to design most of the idiot out of the problem.

E-rich is right. We also use a moly spray to keep them from galling.

Having one side anodized helps greatly. A difference in hardness is the key to prevent galling.
Also, a thread with a squared off peak such as an acme thread will do better than a triangular profile.
