This is the only time in life where you can say it's all downhill from here and it be a good thing. What year team are ya'll?

1st Year - 750
2nd - 630
3rd - 550
and goal is another 75 off for next year... go Jenny Craig

without driver.. dry..

It was somewhat of a joke. It's not a matter of weighing a lot, its a matter of being at the competition, and being able to say we passed tech and are competing in the comp.

Johnny this is our first year, over-designed for a purpose. We think we are doing great for out first year, you should look for our tank out on the enduro tomorrow.

Good Luck.

our team was so relief that we werent the heaviest. Ours is 679 lbs. http://fsae.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

but you're right ... should be proud of yourself for competing and passing the tech for a first year team. You guys probably learn a lot more than a more establish team who just redesign the same old design over and over again.

and i think we have more rookies this year than any other year. And becoz of the MPG location, it makes all the parts buying even more difficult. I guess that's why we hear announcement on parts every single half hour.

Just to get drive out of that place takes a solid 15 mins, not including the drive to the interstate.

I really miss silverdome. Where else can you see other team's dynoing their car.

i've never been to silverdome, but i have heard nothing but good things about it relative to MPG. i do not like all the 'rules' of MPG.

Johnny B,
sounds about like our team:
95- ??
02- 660
04- 550
06- 475 (all fluids and data logger)

We have never had more than two people stay on a team long enough to build more than one car, and no more than 3 members that last a whole year. We are stoked about this years car though, it is a drastic impovement, and should be a competitive car. See y'all in California.

You should be proud, Ryan. Don't let the pricks rain on your parade. Do well in endurance and pass your knowledge along to future teams.
