03 CBR – RR
I was hoping that someone may know if I can bypass the bank angle sensor and if I can then how so, as for the wiring diagram does not give me any clue to how the internals work.
Or would it be best for me to just buy a sensor and mount it and call it a day.
Thanks for your help gentleman.

It depends on what ECU you are using. We use the preformance electronics ECU and the cam sensor wires off and just use the crank angle sensor since that's all the the PE ECU will support.

I think he is talking about the "tip-over" switch. Having never seen the wiring diagram for that bike, I can't tell you the proper way to defeat this device. What components does it wire to (coils, ecu, etc)?

Yeah, I knew that http://fsae.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif yeah so looking at the wiring diagram it connects to the engine stop realay (NC) and the Fuel cut relay (NC as well), so unless you are going to use the stock ECU you don't really need any of these things. And from what the service manual is saying about this sensor it is just a limit switch with a pendulum that closes when the sensor tips more than 60deg so you can probably just unplug it and you should be fine.
