Well with less than 2 weeks before she bolts up to an 02 Lowrider my rear end is next to complete. Thanks to the few that offered up helpful info. Would still be interested in downsizing this Ford 8.8 diff and rear end. Heck my diff housing is 7" diameter. I'm thinking it could be much smaller & lighter if somebody could direct me to a suitable substitute. Would really like a torsen but don't know which cars have these and other suitable drive line components, axles, uprights, etc.
