Does anyone know the advertised camshaft intake valve duration for a 2002 600cc Honda F4I. I can't believe how difficult this value is to find

Hey people, try

http://www.aperaceparts.com/tech.html

at the bottom of the page, however I have found a few errors so don't rely on it too heavily.

Check out sites like Hotcams.com that make cams for those engines. They have a lot of information for stuff like that.

the actual site im sure you're referring to is hotcamsinc.com, not to be confused with hotcams.com which for some reason took me to slickcams.com which is not exactly a safe for work site... luckily i was in our team's cad lab so it didnt matter.

also, i didnt notice much technical info on that site anyways.

if you have a cam, you can measure the profile with CMM machine and then you can use the fundamentals of the Geometry science and find out the valve lift ratio with the crankshaft angle. so the duration will be found with a little thinking...
