I just wanted to see who else received the email regarding the new TV series on FSAE teams? If you haven't received the email, did you hear about it from another source? Below is the email I received from RaceLAB. I know everyone would like to see better publicity for the comp and individual teams http://fsae.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif.

Hi,

My name is Stephen Soroosh, a six year FSAE alumni and current volunteer
and donor. Today, I am honored to make a special announcement to the hard
working students, faculty and staff that make Formula SAE the world’s
foremost engineering competition. I can testify that my experience in
FSAE has had a profound impact on my professional life and as a result, I
have long sought to increase the recognition of students and expand the
reach of FSAE to the general public. At last, on behalf of the creators
of RaceLAB, it gives me great pleasure to introduce an all new TV series
dedicated to FSAE, Formula:RaceLAB.

With the cooperation of the Formula SAE Collegiate Design Series, we have
worked to build a show that truly captures the full spectrum of work,
emotions and fun that unfolds throughout the year. Following various
teams as they design, build, test and ultimately compete in the world’s
largest engineering competition, Formula: RaceLAB is all about you!

Right now what we need is for you to show your support as we launch a
massive social media campaign! All you have to do is log on to
YouTube.com/RaceLABtv, watch our trailer subscribe to our channel. Leave
us a comment if you like and by all means; spread the word to your

Haven't heard of it. Also, seems like your link is broken.
Mississippi State University along with Clemson University participated in what would have been the pilot show for Fox College Sports that was a racing show for about the Formula SAE cars. I'm pretty sure that the show died in production because the website where it was hosted no longer works.

Would definitely be awesome to make a show on it though. http://fsae.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

KnightsRacing was contacted and would be very interested in participating. Would be interesting to see the view of a relatively new team who is struggling due to lack of faculty support but kept up by the sheer determination of the students.

We were contacted as well. Basically, it looks like if they get enough subscribers on youtube, that they can get a specific channel on the site. Then, they will build up to a pilot for Discovery, TLC, etc. For now I think everyone just needs to "like" or subscribe to their channel. Hopefully it goes somewhere, as more awareness is never ever a bad thing.
