Which are the advantages of havin a bellow or above grounf roll center?
A FSAE-Car must be overdamped?

The Damping Ratio should be....
*under 1 (underdamped)
*1 (critically damped)
*over 1 (overdamped)

d) All of the Above

Sorry, just being a smartass. There are several books that could be written (or already have) to answer your questions.

In general, the ideal damping ratio in ride will be less than 1, but it depends on how bumpy the surface is. And when you consider that the damper force vs. velocity curve is nonlinear and asymmetric (rebound vs. compression), things get a little more complicated.

Do a "Find" for "Recommended Reading" on this forum. You'll see several books to start with.

i was told that it could be between 0.65 and 0.70 but like denny said ... it depends on how bumpy the surface is i guess.
