I am needing these intermediates becoz, i have acquired driveshafts from a car, and not modifying the cv joints or cv shaft. Therefore, we were thinking of instead of making internal splines on the cv side of intermediate, we were thinking of drilling a hole or a tap in the the cv shaft and then mating the intermediate with it. This way we wont be needoing to make a internal splne on the intermediate and wont be using the splines of the cv shaft.

Again should this intermediate or the cv shaft has to be mounted too, to the chassis via bearoings. Becoz, if not, then nothing prevents the intermediate mated with the differential with splines to come out. Therefore is this motion recommended?? Or a mount has to be there on both the sides on intermediate or cv shaft.

Again, I think this intermediates has to be out of contact with the casing of the differential where they are entering, since they would be rotating at different speeds then the casing andare to be in contaact with the splines only.
So do some clearance has to left out there??

Again, going by current design i am needing to use four mounts in the rear , 2 on differential and 2 on tintermediate or cv shaft? Four mounts four bearings double the weight.

Some quick suggestions would greatly assist me as i have to assembled the rear within three days.

How long are these intermediate bugger shafts going to be? If they are hanging out of the diff more then say 3" you will need bearings, or you will be breaking them under heavy acceleration and braking. How exacly do you plan to attach them to the cv joint? You are going to get splines cut in the torsen shafts, so why not just make axles the right lengths too....

my both driveshafts are similar, therefore on one side the intermediates are negligibly outside but on the other side it is 10cm long.
Even if they are less than 3 inch long as is the case in one of the sides, wont there has to be some tinkering done to prevent the intermediate coming out of the differential. Otherwise whole driveshaft will be in a shaking mode.
We are thinking of drilling in the hardened cv shaft over which our intermediate would extent, as of now.
