Hi guys,

I was wondering how you managed to enlist brake lines in your cost report. I've found it in the material table, and it simply says "All Cost as Made". Does that mean I'm supposed to actually explain the production process of a brake line?

I'd really appreciate your help!

Thanks a lot in advance,

Not sure how others do it, but I made the brake lines as an Assembly. Tubing, braided hose, and fittings can all be found in the materials table. If you're using hard line you can make a Part that defines the stainless/aluminum/whatever tubing and add a bending process (I do not recall if tube flaring is in the process table, but you can add that as well). Don't forget to add all your parts to the BoM.

This makes sense to me, since brake lines are not a single part, and are also unique to each vehicle. Hence the "cost as made" requirement.
