Dont forget your umbrellas.. (http://www.weather.com/weather/tenday/48185?from=36hr_topnav_undeclared)
Seems like a repeat of last year's competition, weatherwise. You'll have hypothermia and head colds for the teams that make or stick arround for design semis, and sunburns for everyone on saturday.
Also, you might want to bring a rain setup for your car..Anyone done much wet weather testing?

Worse comes to worse, thats the only setup UNH will be running. Our forcast calls for wet weather until we leave. Fortunately we'll be bringing the best tuned (engine) car we've ever had. Unfortunately, not nearly enough testing time as of right now. Hopefully the marathon driving day planned for tommorrow comes through and we can get everyone aclimated.

Driving in the rain is some of the best experience you can get; it really teaches great car control. Just don't let competition be your first attempt.

Snowing in Wisco? I would believe it. As for being next to michigan and having snow, we are in michigan and have snow.

I don't see that happening in detroit because we have about 1" of accumulcation, really slushy due to it raining all day, but I still got the carhartt out......
Good thing we suck and can't test today, otherwise I might be pissed........

i'm with kirk on this. although, wasn't it all shitty the last few weeks, based on what mi amigos said? april/may is a bit late for rain...
additionally, having now lived outside southern california, i'm convinced that the forecast of "partly cloudy" is bullshit. anywhere else, that's called a beautiful day.

Unfortunately, the word is that Guelph is no longer planning to run the AWD platform, so rain will no longer be in their favour...

You are correct that Guelph is RWD, but they won't be attending this year.

Yea, i think the meteorologists lost track of a hurricane and it wound up over MI. It's now set to rain here just about every day until the saturday endourance..
