I am blessed to have a chassis Dyno in our FSAE lab. Unfortunately it’s a Dynojet. We constantly have issues with their software (Winpep 7) and their tech support also lacks. Does anyone else have a dynojet chassis dyno? If you do what version of their software are you using and do you have issues with it?

Also. If you are looking to buy a chassis dyno I would suggest you don’t get one from dynojet. I have spent hundreds of hours on ours, done thousands of passes, and spend a decent amount of time doing steady state tuning on it and the dyno is a constant issue.

I hate DynoJet and WinPep7 is the worst. The software is not too bad when it actually works. The main problem is that the connection from dyno to laptop is so inconsistent that it makes the dyno unusable.

We regularly change laptops to avoid this with little success. What good is a chassis dyno when you can't log with it?
