We just got one earlier this year. The system seems to work great. And for the money it really can't be beat as far as capability. It can log up to five channels in addition to the O2 reading.

I used one last year and liked it, it's a great bang for the buck even though we never got around to wiring up the extra logging channels

I've heard about issues with the Bosch sensor overheating easily, but it worked fine for us.

I don't think that you should have any issues with the sensor overheating in N/A situations. We had the spark go dead in two cylinders and the fuel decided to combust right at the last collector which is just in front of the O2 sensor. The header was glowing considerably brighter than it usually does at an EGT of 1400-1500 F.

Just in case you do have problems with the sensor you should probably have an extra. They are only $40-$50 if you get them online.

I've been looking at the TechEdge 2C0 unit that is very small, intended for motorcycles.

aparently they're about 8-10 days away from having a production unit ready.

I just finished assembling a TechEdge DIY-2A0 unit. I think teams might like it's more open source as compaired to any of the other units. They also have a small unit without the case or datalogger that you could toss in with other electronics.
