Yeah,
Clarkson has exams starting on the 28th. We haven't quite figured out yet how we're going to work it out with the university yet. It'd be nice if it was two weeks later, or earlier for that matter.

I suspect SAE knows of the date conflict with the exam period at many schools - I believe this is why they allow schools to register for this event and one of the other events at the same time - they don't anticipate high demand.
One little red car has been known to cope with writing exams at competition (http://fsae.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/125607348/m/72810713721?r=18910713721#18910713721). It does occur in the middle of our exams as well, so my alma mater is not going.

Can you have your finals moved by your professors?
Detroit falls in the middle of our finals and our
advisor serves as a proctor before and at Detroit.

Detroit always falls in the middle of our finals too. I've gone to competition for the past two years as an underclassman and have never had a problem rescheduling finals. After I explained why I would be missing them, professors were open to allowing me to take them either early or after we get back from competition.

VIR is a couple weeks before our finals as well... thats why when my internet connection wasn't good enough to snag a spot in michigan, we decided to make the cross country voyage to CA!

We made the trek out to Cali last year due to a signup issue and we had the same problem again this year with michigan. I wouldn't mind going back, but somebody more intelligent than i thinks coming home the day of exams is a better idea than the middle of june.
