Hey,

got a litle question. Hockenheim is our fist competition and we got a little problem at our frame.. maybe.

Does anyone know how the angle beteen main hoop and main hoop braces is measured? Is there a template?

Greetings from Germany

I believe the angle is measured in the side view, and should be called out in the rules.

Phil,
Drew is correct. The angle is measured in true side view, not in the plane of the Main Hoop and Main Hoop Bracing. The reason is that the Bracing is meant to stabilize the Main Hoop in a fore-and-aft direction. If the angle was measured in the plane of the Bracing and Main Hoop, the bracing could be transverse, it would meet the Rules but give no longitudinal support.
