Hey guys,

Some of you may have seen my FSAE webinar or talked to me at MIS in May. I'm a former Mississippi State FSAE Chassis Guy/CAE guru and now an Adams support engineer for MSC Software.

On October 4-6 MSC is having its 2011 User’s Conference, during which I'll be hosting a 1-Day Adams/Car training class. For those who don’t know, Adams is a Multi-body dynamics software family, and Adams/Car is very popular, high-end vehicle simulation software that MSC offers for free to FSAE teams.I'll be talking about modeling practices and we'll go throught a number of tutorials to help get you started modeling your car.

Student can attend the actual conference for discounted price of $100 and the training for another $50. This would be a great chance to network and get to have face to face discussion with all of the Adams experts from MSC and other companies in the industry. Even bring you car models and I will take a look at them as time permits.

Alternatively, teams can attend live via Webex for only $50 total.

Both come with free 90 day local machine licenses for the Motion Bundle, so no worries if you haven't signed up for the FSAE sponsorship yet, or can't run the licenses you have outside of your school network.
