I had a question earlier about ESP systems that could actuate the brakes, but I have discarded that idea, mostly due to the fact that it would be difficult to comply the rules.
Now I have a different idea of just distributing the brake bias front/rear. The most simple idea is to have a adjustable bias bar on the brake pedal, just like this: http://stoptech.com/whitepapers/proportioning_valves.htm
I guess most FSAE cars have this nowadays (we do atleast).
The disadvantage of this solution is the hassle of adjusting the bias. So a better idea would be to have a valve near the driver to adjust the pressure. Just like this: http://performanceunlimited.com/cobravalley/proportionvalve.html
Is there anything in FSAE rules preventing use of this ? I cannot find any signs of this in the rulebook ...
