We are thinking of making a carbon fibre steering wheel, and I would like to know some information about the wheels that other schools have made.

For those teams with hollow wheels (rather than the foam cored type), how many layers do you use to make the rim?

What weight is the cloth that you used?

Have you had any problems with cracking?

How did you determine the most comfortable profile for the driver's grip?
