Motec has begun taking registration for this years Motec/Rouelle seminar. Registration is open to FSAE participants. More details can be found at
seminar info (http://www.motec.com/semnars/claude_seminars.htm) or

registration (http://www.motec.com/semnars/schedule1.htm)

there is also a registration form (http://dot.etec.wwu.edu/fsae/HostedPics/2005_MoTeC_FSAE_Registration_Form.doc)
When I talked with Motec today there were about 60 or the 70 spots still left. The person I talked to there said they had not yet sent out any official anouncements but that they would appreciate one on the fsae.com forum.

I feel the seminar is very helpful, at least one person per team should try to go.

May I ask what the difference is between the FSAE seminar and the usual seminar, besides the price difference.

Price is the biggest difference i think, also Claude offers longer seminars, we get a somewhat condensed 3day one. I am not the expert on this and would feel more comfortable if you guys directed you questions to Motec or Claude himself. links above should point in the right direction.

from what i remember from last year, i think he left out aero stuff and some other hysteresis stuff out of FSAE seminar. And i think he only lecture you on the first 2 days and then a MOTEC guy would take over on the 3rd day.

Last time i went, the first day, we sat in there from 9-6 something. The next day, from 7 in the morning up to 9.30 at night. So claude really tried to fit all of the stuff during the seminar.

So ... it's cheaper than a regular one, and of course you get less topic covered and it's a whole lot of info to register into your head in two days that's for sure.

for the ones on the site that don't say "FSAE only," is the price still $230? or is it the $950?
Just curious, since some venues would be more convenient than others although they aren't FSAE exclusive.

Is there any people from Quebec planning to go? I'd really love to be able to see that.
