For the 2008 FSAE West event, Michigan State University transported the University of Cincinnati's car, gear, tools, etc. to California. Cincinnati came to our workshop about a week before the event and loaded their stuff up and likewise picked it up after the truck arrived back in Michigan afterwards.
This situation worked out well and as such, we would like to offer the same services to another team. To transport a team's car and tools from our shop to California and back following the event, we'll charge what we charged Cincinnati in 2008: $1,500. This is essentially enough to cover a small portion of our logistics costs, as well as what we feel to be a fair price for the services rendered. Transport is in the team's semi, driven by a professional, insured driver. If you would like to have the truck stop at another location and pick up your stuff, that might be able to be arranged.
PM or Email (the latter preferred) if you're interested. We will handle this on a first come, first serve basis, as we can only take one team.
