I would like to share some autocross dates with interested teams within the region.

April 12 & 13 - Assembly Hall : Champaign, IL
April 26 & 27 - Assembly Hall : Champaign, IL
May 4 - Parkland College : Champaign, IL

More dates coming soon.

In our area we have four venues:

Assembly Hall:
Small lot, parking islands, light poles, porta-potties, old asphalt.

Parkland College:
Bigger lot, light poles, new and old asphalt and sometimes interesting elevation changes -> blind corners (depends on which lot we get).

ICC (Peoria, IL):
I don't know about this one, I never been there. But it's on a decent sized lot I believe.

Chanute AFB (Rantoul, IL):
Former AFB, complete with Minute Man ICBMs. Old tarmac/concrete with a little bit of vegetation, a large lot. Sometimes we have problems with skydivers.

BTW: Rallycross - Feb 2nd in White Heath.

Just a quick reply that the ICC lot is similar to the Assembly Hall lot except larger and with less islands. The pavement conditions of Assembly Hall and ICC are pretty similar to those of the Silverdome competition lot.

Hopefully we'll have a couple of our older(slow) cars at each event, and possibly this year's car as well.
