Crush Zone Energy Absorbtion

Hey, does anybody out there know what kind of G's the judges are defining as an aceptable limit of deceleration? Or if our Formula cars are supposed to adhere to industry standards (i.e. total energy is absorbed in a 13.4 m/s crash)?

As far as I know, there hasn't ever been any active testing on the crush zones. Just make an Aluminum box, fill it with some Aluminum honeycomb and 2part foam, and you should be more than set.

If you're writing the design review, I wouldn't worry about it. If you don't know you just have to leave that field blank I would have thought.
