Has anyone managed to install a pressure transducer into a Honda CBR 600 F4 Engine or similar? Were there any problems? say frequecy responce of the transducer at high rpm? Or Avoiding engine cavities with the hole into the cylinder?

To clarify, I mean a sensor to measure a compression trace during combustion.

A student on the Uni Qld team named Mathew Bews was trying to use a "sparkplug type" sensor.

He couldn't find an OEM sensor, for 10 mm plugs.

So he had the choice:

1 make your own spark plug sensor

2 drill into the combustion chamber, as you described.

He tried to manufacture his own sparkplug sensor.

Well, he learnt a lot, but never got data that was any good.

He suspects it a very feasible project, IF, and only if, you have technical staff with the experience in very similar things.

It's a huge project for an undergrad student to achieve. It's costly too. Expensive sensors, etc. Forget about stuff like "lab view".

I'll pass this message along to him, and try and get some more info for you.
