The Firenze Race Team V2 at UniversitÃ* degli Studi di Firenze is proud to announce that

the General Director of FERRARI Formula 1 Jean Todt

has received the "Laurea Honoris Causa" in Mechanical Engineering from the UniversitÃ* degli Studi di Firenze.

During that event Mr.Todt visited the Firenze Race Team V2, and was interested in our car (F2003-V2) design and in FSAE competitions.

Well done, Firenze! Perhaps you could suggest to Mr Todt that he and/or one or two of his colleagues might like to visit Formula Student during this year's British Grand Prix. Bruntingthorpe is not far by helicopter from Silverstone. Email me via the Formula Student web site if you want to discuss.

By the way, places at this year's event are going fast. Are you intending to enter? If so, don't leave it too late. I hope I can add an Italian flag to the registration page soon!

Thanks, Vinh, by the way for the Toronto Number 1 car registration. We're looking forward to seeing you, along with several other Canadian teams.

Firenze not registered for Formula Student??!

It would definitely be amazing to see some F1 guys at Formula Student if they have time early on in the week...... a few names come to mind: Ian Murphy from Williams, Jock Clear of BAR are two guys I know who know of FStudent.

I can see 5 Canadian teams! Quite impressive. We look forward to another fantastic event.....and to defend our title! The new car gets its first shakedown on Monday!

Cheers!

We are coming, you can prepare the Italian Flag GIF image.

Last year one of the Technical Chief of the Sport Automotive Italian Association (CSAI) visited us during the second competition day.

We are trying to increase the interest of the main Italian Factory, like Ferrari, Dallara, Tatus (FRenault builder), Lamborghini....

...Mr Todt asked us to drive our car!? perhaps next time it will be possible.

We hope to send you good news as soon as possible. The FSAE rumors are increasing in Italy.

Quite possibly the coolest picture I've ever seen an FSAE team take:
