When hunting through our FSAE computer files, I found the following dyno graphs. Obviously, the first one is from motorcycle.com, showing the stock baseline torque and horsepower curves. However, I am not quite sure what our other 3 graphs are. They all include one of the same run, Dynorun.005. However, 2 of the graphs include over-80 horsepower runs. Are these possible with the restrictor on the intake? Also, I notice a large difference in the peak horsepower between stock and our engine, but the peak torque is nearly the same (42.8 ft-lbs vs. 40.04 ft-lbs). If the intake and exhaust were designed properly, could the stock peak horsepower (96.1 bhp) be attained on an intake-restricted FSAE F4i engine? It would probably be at a lower rpm, but is 96.1 bhp possible without a turbo- or super-charger?
