Who has used a BRT mini steering rack? (BRT Racing Products - Reddick IL) Did it suit your needs? Were they available in suitable lengths and ratios?

Why you should buy the rack and pinion.
1) Well.....you see...i get back to you on that.

Why you should not buy the rack and pinion!!
1) Takes longer than a month to get into your hands. I say longer because i have yet to get it.
2) BRT will never return your phone call. Im at about 20 voice messages right now.
3) BRT will not send you a basic cad drawing even though thats all we need at this point.
4) BRT phone call...(Team) " When will the rack be here" (BRT) "You will have it on your doorstep on Monday" (Team) Left voicemail on tuedays and no call back so i called them back on wednesday at 3. (BRT) "welll...dumb excuse..ill sent it out today" Right!!!
5) many more

Looks a lot like the other racks, Stiletto for example, and most notably easily purchased from Chassis Shop.

I've said this before on the forum and I will say it again. I strongly recommend you stay away from a rack like the BRT which does not have support out at its ends. The BRT rack we used in the past only had three bolts at the center of the rack, which caused it to deflect a large amount while driving. If you grab the end of the rack and push against it, the rack has about an 1/8" of slop or more in it. This is due to the poor amount of support. Like I said, be aware of this. I know it's cheap, but that doesn't always make it the right choice.

If your price limit is 250 bucks then get a stiletto. Stiletto or brp you will have to support rack ends. Stiletto has wayyyyyyyyy better customer service though. Mr. Wood is a trip once you get him talking. If your price limit is above that(approx 600) then woodward steering makes a real sick center steer formula style rack that is just simple awesome. Lighter and smaller than a cast titan rack with all of the nice features a titan has.

Do you have a CAD file of either of them?

From what i remember the BRT and Stiletto racks are very similar with the Stiletto offering a few more ratios and they will sell you full length racks that you can cut to length if your ball joint spacing requires housing modifications.
