Hello Everybody....

What does everyone use as firewall?? Do you use ribbets to put it on your chasis?? How do you isolate the gas tank from the seat and the exhaust??

Last year the judges asked us to use isolation tape for all the gaps our aluminum sheets had. I don´t seem to find a better solution for this...

Can anyone help me out here?? Any pics what be great.

No pictures as of yet. We pretty much do the same things you do. An aluminum sheet attached to the chassis, with the side towards the engine polished, and the side against the driver padded with insulation (either purchased or scrap fiberglass mat). We also get our headers coated, and wrap them in exhaust wrap to isolate heat. Hope this helps.
