Just wondering what experience teams have had with using Wilwood's dynalite single calipers? They look very suitable for the job to me.
Has anyone gotten away with using go-kart calipers? One more question, how low have teams gone with rotor thickness for cast iron rotors? We are currently using 4mm thick rotors.

we've used wilwood calipers for years, never had any trouble with them whatsoever.

Inexpensive, lightweight, good looking, and easy to find. Seems to be the perfect caliper for these cars. (and the reason why we keep using them!)

Dynalite Singles work just fine, perhaps a little big for our application but not extremely so. But stay away from the Single Floaters! The friction made the brakes less consistent on our '99 car.

In the past, I've used 4 and 6 pot callipers off large Jap street bikes. I usually copy the dimensions and machine new inner halves so I can relocate the feed/bleed holes, and make sensible mounting lugs.
The thinnest disc I've used is 5mm.
