Hello
I am not good at english.
Try understand me.
I have some question.
Firstly
How long is CV Joint diameter that come into inside Torsen LSD?
Unit does by meter beforehand.
Because I need CV joint diameter to design oil seal.
Secondly
How do you fix cv joint and spline within LSD?
Usually know fixing by snap ring Eu......Groove has not occurred to Spline that enter inside LSD.
Waiting for reply.

Assuming you are referring to the "University Special" there is no CV joint that goes inside - it came from the center differential of an Audi (within the transmission).
Complete drawings and dimensions are available from Torsen. I have them in .jpg format somewhere...
To secure my splines within the LSD, I pressed bearings onto the shaft and then retained the bearings in an aluminum housing surrounding the differential. Other teams have found other solutions such as bolting through the center of the two shafts or relying on the outer joints and axles to hold them in. Other solutions out there?

The Torsen FSAE FAQ is here. (http://www.torsen.com/fsae/fsaefaqframes.htm)
We machine a flange into our stubshafts, and put a snapring into our bearing mounts, which retains the stubshafts axially.

Do you think you could send me some pictures of your solution?
