In '03 we stayed at the motel 6 right down the street from comp. Not too bad of a stay, I dont remember if we got a mint in the morning though, haha.

We dont know exactly where we should stay for this years comp.

So how about it? Where are you staying?

We'll be at the Staybridge again this year. It's a bit expensive but nice. We are lucky enough to have a travel budget. I do remember in 2001 when I had to convince a sponsor to pay for a single room that 9 of us stayed in, so it hasn't always been gravy! http://fsae.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

I just need enough to tide me over until I need more.

We stayed at teh Welsley last year and found it to be to our liking. but when our guy called then the other day they said something to the effect of some team (1) from Chicago had taken all of there space(yes all). I didn't make the call so I'm not really sure about the validity of that story, anyone else having trouble finding a place to stay?

We will be staying at the Fairfield Inn (free breakfast.) http://fsae.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif It sounds like they are about out of rooms so you had better hurry if you plan on staying there.

thats funny, since no chicago university has ever fielded a formula team to my knowledge. maybe there is a new one, or they are talking about a nearby Illinois school

We considered renting a Winnebago camper and sleeping in there, but after five days locked in with six other guys we'd probably all have gone stark raving apeshit. The Holiday Inn suites look nice, has anyone stayed there before?
