Not that I am all up in arms about the amount of chicks in F-sae or anything... I'm no femanist Nazi racer, But Racerchicks.com, a website like this one, but also specialising in coverage of chickracers and all things motorsport in general too, wants info on Chicks in FSAE...
So if you are one or know one, chuck some info on here and it will get forwarded to Nika, The head Racerchicks in Canada. Thanks...

The president of our 2003 team was female. She had a big hand in the daily operations and was instrumental in the organization of the team.
She is the one sitting in our car in the latest issue of Racecar Engineering (good article by the way, thanks Alan). Email me and I can give you her email.

Along with the story, this might bring some more coverage for your team and some great PR!!!

So leave some info on your FSAE-Chicks!!!

We also have multiple ladies on our team. One first year student produced magnificent fibreglass bodywork on our 03 car. This year, she heads the Chassis. The other lady on our team leads the business team. Both are strong members in our organization.

As do we. We currently have 4 females on the team. Two are group leaders working on our drivetrain and aerodynamics. The other two (including myself) work in groups from manufacturing to body to business. We have also been known to be great recruiters for the team with the considerable amount of guys at our school. http://fsae.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif I would like to say that the other 3 girls are a HUGE asset to the team and do excellent jobs in anything that they work on.

We had no females on our team last year because we had none interested enough to apply. If we do have any apply this year they will be considered the same as anybody else, based upon whether we have a use for them. I would suspect that if you have females on your team with the attitude that they may be good for recruiting or PR, they would see right through your intentions and you will have wasted a potential resource. If you choose to have females on your team based upon their engineering, business, or manufacturing savvy you may find that they can be another valuable teammate and not just a recruiting tool.

OK, I am stepping back down off me soapbox now. http://fsae.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Yes, but do the girls manage to recruit guys who can do more than stare and drool? Do the guys get distracted...? If the chicks were as sexy as that car....

Well, most of the guys that are recruited are of use because our school deals mainly with engineers. And yes, the girls are that SEXY!

All this sexy talk. Very nice.

There were a lot of cute girls at the UK competition. The event Control girls were nice.

Can anyone post pics of them? Birmingham? Firenze?
