Hi all,
I am in Korea on business and just checked my email.
I have three reports from different sources about some odd behaviour by teams whilst testing at Calder Park in Melbourne yesterday.
I don't want to know what happenned, it doesn't matter. What does matter is the Australian event it'self, and access to testing venues.
Quit the crap!
It is too late for espionage, and anyway a polite request to stay away works better than intimidation and juvenile bitching.
You are supposed to be adults, not kindergarten children arguing over who is next on the swing. There is plenty of room at Calder, and any team that doesn't want to cooperate might like to explain their reasons to me! We are not racing for sheepstations, but to better our education. If you want to learn how to fight, go to a Kung Fu acadamy.
Thats all I have to say on the issue........for now.

no fair.
i checked up with the melbourne guys and there was no kung-fu! with fsae team's habits of videotaping everything, i was hoping there would be a videotape to rival jacky chan's next movie! there would have been bullets flying (and being deflected by two very large wings, now we know the real reason for them), a james bondish chase through the melbourne streets in fsae cars, culminating in the two cars facing off on a pier and playing a game of chicken until one car plunged off into the water.
but ive heard that there wasnt even a bitch slap thrown, much less any flying three-legged roundhouse kicks*!

- the problem with the world is stupidity. i'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?

footnote: *the flying three-legged roundhouse kick is a technique taught in secret to well endowed monks (or monks who have had the famed "donkey transplant") at the shao lin monastery. it is often refered to as a "double-edged sword" technique, becuase it often causes more pain to the kicker than the kicked.
however, these type of techniques are not limited to men. there is also the 4 armed spinning punch, which only women (and the occasional man who often appears in late night kareoke bars) can perform.
when the two techniques meet there is often disasterous consequences for the man. a 4 armed spinning punch from the distance of a hundered meters can often result in the man recieving a swift punch to either the stomach, solar plexus or head, depending on his ability to perform the three-legged roundhouse kick.
