I'm looking to do aero engineering masters courses at Cambridge, Southampton, or Cranfield. Does anyone have experience with these schools or know someone who does? basically im looking for a school that does a lot of ground vehicle aero, preferably in racing.

thanks in advance for the comments http://fsae.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Hiya,

I'm at Cranfield at the moment doing the motorsport engineering course. It's a great place for making contacts and is well respected in industry, lots of wind tunnels, and links with most of the top F1 teams.

As a university generally it is TINY - only 1000 or so students on the Cranfield campus (90% of whom are male...) and located inthe middle of nowhere - Milton Keynes is about 3 miles away and then an hour or so on the train to London. It's a very international place to study with people from pretty much everywhere in the world. My experiences have been good and overall I'm enjoying my time here. The smallness means everyone is really friendly, and nearly everyone lives in the uni accomodation on campus - really nice rooms, reasonably priced and only 5mins from lectures and the union.

I could ramble on forever... mail me on h.e.jackson.2003 at cranfield.ac.uk if you want to know more. Hope that helps
