Does anyone know if the F4 and F4i heads are interchangable? We have a 2000 f4 and have the oppurtunity to get a 2002 f4i head. Thanks

Yes, they are. If you are getting a rebuilt head, remember you'll need a valve cover, exhaust cam, and cam sensor at a minimum.
The piston valve reliefs are at a different angle on the intake side, but it is pretty neglible. I would recommend checking total valve clearance anytime you replace a head on one of these engines. http://fsae.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Yes they are interchangablbe. I know this because currently we are running an F4i head on an F4 block without any trouble.
