Connection between shell and beam element

Hello All,

I have modelled an "I" shaped solid model geometry in Ansys workbench and a line body attached to solid beam. i have meshed shod body with shell element and line body with automatic meshing. I have also assigned cross section to the line body.
But it doesn't recognize the connection between shell and beam element(line body). while solving i get errors like no proper connection or support. Can anyone please answer this question?
