Our uni is going to be running inboard rear brakes this year for the first time. I was just wondering what rotor size everyone who has done this used, about how much their car weighed, and if the size was sufficient. Any info would be great. http://fsae.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

Aim for about 25% of the total braking force on the rear. So if you have 1 type XXX caliper on each front wheel at some radious. Having One of these XXX calipers on the rear would be a little too much. Plan on using a smaller dia disk in the rear in this case or a larger master cylinder for the rear. Testing is the only way to be sure. Too much rear will give corner entry oversteer on late braking. Brake ballance bars are a must. Even more when the rain starts.

Hope this helps
