Vihn from U of T mentioned that the entry fee for detroit was going up to 600USD. Can anyone confirm this? Thanks.

Steve Daum mentioned it to me at Formula Student. It is true. But it's really a minimal entry fee if you ask me...... considering all the volunteers they have and all the logistical stuff that goes into a massive event such as Formula SAE........ we're holding our shootout and already it is a lot of work. $600 should have been the price a long time ago.

Now as for the Formula Student entry fee....... I dunno about that!

Agreed. $600 is a reasonable amount. Given the size of FSAE relative to FStudent it is completely unjustifiable to charge over £1000 for the latter.
