We have used pfc's over the years - but for willwood I would stick to either A or J depending on what the conditions are. J is nice and predictable.

Last year we used A compound.
After the competition we tested the car and noticed that the pads worked better when they were warm. In cold conditions they didnt block the wheels as fast as warm. Besides we had some pressure problems because of the master cylinder`s diameter.
We choose "A" compound because of its low torque at cold and its one of the compmpunds with the highest coeficient of friction. In spite of that we had problems in the brake test. Several factors interfered there: not bedding the pads, low brake pressure...
I think that the problem of the pad tempetature was because we never bed them.
Do you bed your pads or you just install them and dont budder about the bedding procedure?

usually you have to bed the pads some manufacturers do it for you but most dont, you also have to bed in your discs

Any opinions about the "D" compound? I figured the high braking torque at low temperatures was what we needed...
