Friends,
I am new to this forum. I needed some advise on how to solve a quarter car model.

Can you people help me solve the governing equations to find out what are themain parameters that are important and how can their variance change the answers.
Thank you

Model it like:
m2 = Sprung Mass
m1 = Unsprung Mass
Ks = Spring rate
b = Damping coefficient
Kw = Wheel rate
u = Road surface input
x = displacement of unsprung mass
y = displacement of sprung mass
Draw FBD of both the masses and write the corresponding equation.
m1 x'' + c (x'-y') + Ks (x-y) + Kw x = Kw u
m2 y'' + c (y'-x') + Ks (y-x) = 0
You can get Matlab to do x & y for different u.

It takes forever for posts with links to show up and causes embarrassment like this :P something must be done about this.
I'm sure there is an other way to regulate spam. Or maybe have more moderators, so frequency of posts showing up is higher.

Quoted for truth.
I find it works best under the current system to post a "placeholder" post stating that a post with a photo or link has been submitted pending approval.
