The Road & Track Shootout in Detroit last year saw Michigan at 3.6 seconds (0-60mph), and we were around 4.0.
Toronto's website claims 2.9 seconds 0-60, and 11.5 second quarter mile at 120. I wonder if these are actual tests or predictions?

These times are VERY traction dependant. Our test track is poor at best, and when it is only 45 above, the tires are quite hard. I agree with TO's 1/4 mile time. According to our 330 ft time of 5.2sec, we should run mid 11's in the 1/4.

Trac(k)tion dependant.
2.9 was under some very very very good circumstances......
For the actual acceleration EVENT at competition, which I believe is 75m?....We posted a 4.1 in the UK.

Hiya Frank,
For what it is worth, we've done at best 4.8 seconds with our little 450 single, 75 metres as per comp. Since we are expecting the single to be most disadvantaged in this event we are pretty happy with that. We've had stuff-all testing so far due to a few "hiccups" big and small over the past month.
Cheers, can't wait to meet everyone and check out all our toys next weekend. Gunna be a great comp. See you at Tailem Bend.

Hey Frank,
Your car is looking great, I like the new colours, I shouldn't get you guys confused with Sydney this year.
We practised some acceleration runs the other day but found it hard to time the start(as per the rules) and finish accurately. I think we were running about 4.8 secs. Keep in mind this was with the full downforce setting on the rear wing (testing the new Ally honeycomb endplates, cheers to UNSW for those) and an engine that was 20 horsepower down at 11,000RPM. Thankfully we've got the new engine dyno'ed and in the car now so should be a bit better. Did a couple of runs with the wing backed off and drivers commented that it was noticably faster but didn't get a watch on it.
Saw the RMIT car and thought it hauled pretty hard for a single once it got going.
Was super impressed by the Swedes acceleration runs though, the car REALLY moved. I wasn't able to time it but it was easily the quickest car in a straight line I've seen in 4 years of watching the oz comp. That R6 of theirs is sweet, reving to 16K and only 1 shift for the accel run. Oz competitors watch out...
On that note we leave tomorrow morning so good luck to all the teams and I look forward to seeing you in Tailem.
In fact stop working now and take a few days off just for good measure... far too many well finished cars kicking round for my liking haha.
PS frank check out the 2002 Oz and 2003 US results for more info on times too.

Gday all,
We managed 4.1s on an 85m accel run - someone had long paces - although again it was difficult to time exactly.
Scott, we've had a week off while our car ships! At least it makes sure we rush to get the car ready the night before it ships rather than the night before endurance! And some time to prepare for static events...
Cheers
Dave
